Devon&Devon opens a new franchise store in Padua in cooperation with the Chiappetta family, already exclusive distributor in Veneto of the French Roche Bobois brand.
At just over a month from the inauguration of its second flagship store in the United States, the renowned high-end bathroom furnishings designer brand continues to expand, further strengthening its presence in Italy.
In Padua, ancient city of art, guardian of the works of Giotto and Daniel Libeskind, Devon&Devon has opted for the elegant Piazza Insurrezione in the heart of the city. Paola Tanini, brand art director, has designed the layout of the showroom, housed in an interesting early 20th century building and comprising two floors with a surface of more than 250 sq. m. Eight large street windows provide an uninterrupted view of the iconic, distinctive items of the Devon&Devon Collections. The authentic, sophisticated harmony of the Aurora Bijoux and President bath-tubs, the Bentley and Bogart vanity units take front stage together with the Crystal Memphis and Colette consoles.
A large area at the entrance to the store is dedicated to The Tailored Bathroom, Devon&Devon’s custom project dedicated to bespoke bathroom furnishing solutions for both private and commercial customers, stemming from cooperation with Florentine master craftsmen.
The display continues on the lower floor with the Atelier, Intarsia, Cover, Old Wood and Prestige floor coverings, large-sized lacquered wood vanity units such as Jetset and exquisite tap collections available with a wide choice of different finishes. A tribute to the most eclectic contemporary classical style that now denotes the brand world-wide.
“Padua is one of the most important industrial and economic districts in the Veneto region – comments Gianni Tanini, Devon&Devon CEO. We felt the need to reinforce our presence also in this area with an important location designed not only as a showroom but also as a hub at the service of designers and architectures, in which to receive their clients with the assistance of qualified personnel”.
